About Ūs
Glorious Inc was founded by sisters Louisa and Ama in honour of their late mother, Gloria, who passed away from breast cancer in 2017. Inspired by her love for travel, hosting, and Māori culture, the sisters created Glorious Tours to carry on her legacy. The rainbow in their logo symbolises their mother’s love and presence.
Now based in South Auckland after years abroad, Louisa and Ama are experienced tour guides passionate about indigenous tourism. They started Glorious Tours to fill a gap in Aotearoa New Zealand’s travel industry, offering authentic cultural experiences. Their mission is to share the beauty of Māori traditions, connect with people, and keep their heritage alive for future generations.

Louisa Tipene Opetaia
Louisa is a communications specialist with 30+ years in marketing, media, and tourism. Her superpower is being a connector – connecting tourists with new lands and brands with audiences. Passionate about empowering Māori, Pacific and migrant creatives, she leverages her global experiences to connect people.
She is a busy mother of three grown children and a proud grandmother of four treasures, Louisa is driven by a mission to create a better world for future generations. Her focus remains on building a legacy of opportunity and empowerment for her family and community.
Ama Mosese
Ama is a natural-born host with over two decades of experience in travel planning, events management, entertainment, and community work. Whether as an MC, tour guide, or radio and podcast presenter, she excels in captivating audiences. As a proud Pasefika woman, Ama values hospitality, making others feel welcome and entertained.
Ama has always had a passion for travel and has led successful tour groups to once-in-a-lifetime events worldwide. By combining her love for people, travel, events, and beauty, Ama has found a perfect way to express her talents through Glorious Inc.
